The hotel was very beautiful (very old school style) but we knew that when booking so we were not surprised. Beautiful onsen to sit and relax in and well at rotenburo (outside bath)and dinner was just fantastic. The beds were also very comfortable and in the morning we saw a deer outside our window. Breakfast was very good - there was lots of range of foods to eat and everything looked very fresh

Everything was perfect and all staff were helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay so much. There was only one staff in the restaurant serving us we thought was not polite, but it was nothing compared with other good service the hotel offers.

The hotel was lovely and we were received warmly by reception staff. Our room was spacious and breakfast was delicious. Shuttle service to Karuizawa station was provided.
